Expedite Wildlife Tours was born from a lifelong bond with Uganda’s wild heart.
Our founder, Mbabazi Phenny, grew up in Buhoma, a small community on the edge of the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — home to the endangered mountain gorillas. For him, the forest was never just a destination. It was home.
Phenny’s story is deeply intertwined with Uganda’s conservation legacy. His father was among the pioneering rangers who helped habituate the very first gorilla family in Uganda, a groundbreaking effort that laid the foundation for the gorilla trekking experiences that now connect travelers from around the world to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.
Growing up surrounded by ancient forest, misty hills, and gorilla habitats shaped Phenny’s vision. He didn’t just witness conservation, he lived it. And from that experience came a dream: to create a safari company that shares Uganda through local eyes, authentic stories, and meaningful connections.
