We are a paasionate boutique operator, we craft bespoke, immersive adventures that connect you deeply with nature, wildlife, and local communities. Our Story
Founded by Phenny Mbabazi in 2019 , Expedite Wildlife Tours is born from a love of Uganda’s wild landscapes. Growing up in Buhoma near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the Mountain Gorillas, Phenny’s childhood was shaped by close encounters with nature and a family legacy in gorilla conservation, inspired by his father’s who was part of the brave team that habituated the first Gorilla family in Uganda, and dedication to protecting these incredible creatures.
In 2024, everything changed when Phenny met Nick, and the journey to take Expedite beyond Africa began. Today, we offer unforgettable tours not just across Africa, but also to select destinations in South America and Asia Pacific.

As a wildlife photographer and filmmaker Nick has always had an unwavering passion for exploring the natural world and seeking out memorable wildlife encounters. In 2024, Nick was offered an opportunity of a lifetime to partake in the growth of expedite wildlife tours and it is safe to say the answer was a no-brainer. Nick uses his resources and skills as a photographer/videographer to market the business and provide content from his base in the UK. Alongside the marketing aspect, Nick is the lead photography guide on tours in Uganda and beyond, bringing his skills to a wider audience.
