Tracking in Bwindi

Our 3-day trip brings you the highlight of Uganda: Tracking the Mountain Gorillas!
Spend one hour with our very close relatives in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The mountain gorillas are highly endangered and there are only 1,063 animals left, in 3
national parks, covering 3 countries: Bwindi in Uganda and the Virunga Mountains in Uganda
(Mgahinga National Park), Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park) and Congo (Virunga National
Park).
Day 1: Depart Kigali Airport.
Arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be met by your guide who will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It will be a 5-6 hours drive.
Spend the night at the Lodge while preparing for Gorilla tracking in the next morning.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast, set off for what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your safari—the unforgettable experience of mountain gorilla tracking.
After trekking through the dense forest to where the gorillas were last located, you begin your search for the largest primate in the world. Upon sighting, you will spend one hour with them as they eat, rest, and bond with their young ones.
To reach them can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 4 hours, so be prepared for a long trek through the humid rainforest.
Afterwards, relax at the lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable - Kigali
After morning breakfast, drive to Kigali Airport for your evening flight making it the end of our trip.
